Male infertility

Male infertility is an acute problem of the XXI century.

It is argued that infertility mostly affects women. This is not true, as men have problems in reproductive function almost in 50% of childless families. What is the reason for this disappointing situation?

Men's health (especially reproductive function) affects lifestyle and ecology. In addition, the stronger sex does not have a habit to be regularly surveyed and tested. Whereas timely diagnosis of diseases that affect the reproductive function of men, and their proper treatment reduces the risk of becoming infertile.

According to doctors, the main causes of male infertility are inactive lifestyle, bad habits (alcohol, smoking), infections, sexually transmitted infections, irregular sex, weakened immunity and irrational antibiotic treatment. As you can see, there are plenty of causes.

Male infertility has several types:

Secretory infertility


is a violation of the activities of the testicles, reduced sperm quantity or quality, and sperm motility.

Obstructive infertility


is characterized by obstruction of the seminiferous tracts due to inflammation or tumor formation.

Immunologic infertility


is determined by the generation of antibodies to eggs tissues or sperm in the male body.

Relative infertility


assumes no obvious abnormalities, and may be due to such factors as stress, emotional distress, depression.

Prevention of male infertility

To avoid problems with conceiving a child, the doctors recommend to men to stick to simple preventive measures. They include a healthy diet, physical activity and sexual relations. It is very important to stop smoking and drinking alcohol, avoid stressful situations. Take care of your health and the health of your second half, and it will surely bring results!
