Causes of infertility

A birth of a child is the most significant and memorable event in the life of every person.

When the beloved person is next to you, you want to fill life with a new meaning and experience all the delights of motherhood and fatherhood. Unfortunately, the number of families facing the problem of infertility is increasing every year. The diagnosis of infertility is given to the couples who live more than a year of open sex life, without the use of methods and means of contraception, and conception never occurs.

The modern medicine has made a significant step in the treatment of infertility. It is necessary to clearly identify the problems that affect the ability to conceive a child.

There are the following forms of infertility:

Male infertility

– Disruption of the male reproductive system (reducing the concentration of sperm, reducing their mobility, disruption of form, chromosomal abnormalities, malformations, anatomical defects of the genitals, ejaculatory disorders, etc.).

Female infertility

Is determined by the disruption of the female reproductive system (anovulation, tubal patency violation, violation of endometrium receptivity, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, chromosomal abnormalities, malformations and anatomical defects of the genitals, polycystic ovaries).

Combined infertility

It is a disease and disorders of the reproductive system of both men and women.

Unexplained infertility

Such diagnosis is given to the couples, if after a survey (all methods of diagnosis are used and all analyzes are conducted) the cause of infertility are not established.

The most common causes of infertility:

- Male - violation of spermatogenesis (formation and maturation of sperm);

- Female - hormonal disorders, tubal patency.

These causes of infertility are diagnosed in 75-80% of cases.

The main causes of female infertility:

- Violation of ovulation;

- Tubal patency factor;

- Gynecological diseases;

- Immunological causes.
Besides the main causes of infertility, there are other factors that adversely affect a human reproduction, namely smoking, alcohol abuse, overweight or underweight. Remember: a healthy lifestyle contributes to the possibility to produce healthy offspring.
